As a JCB (Joint Control Backhoe) Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction machinery, specifically backhoes and excavators, to perform tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials. Your role is crucial in ensuring site preparation, material handling, excavation, and maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely in construction sites or demolition operations. Your key responsibilities will include safely operating JCB backhoes or similar heavy machinery, conducting excavation, trenching, and loading materials, assisting in site preparation by clearing debris and leveling areas, and transporting materials like dirt, sand, gravel, and concrete to designated site locations. Additionally, you will be required to conduct routine maintenance checks on the machinery, adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, coordinate with construction workers and supervisors, maintain work logs, troubleshoot minor problems, and assist in post-job site cleanup. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience operating backhoes or similar heavy machinery, hold a valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment, possess physical stamina for long hours of operation and manual labor, demonstrate strong safety awareness, and exhibit effective communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively. Key skills required for this position include proficiency in operating JCB backhoes and other machinery, basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, good spatial awareness for maneuvering machinery in tight spaces, and the ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring your presence in person at the work location in Greater Noida, Ecotech 3.
