Job Description

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.

Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by handing them instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.

Monitor patients' vital signs and provide critical support during anesthesia and surgery.

Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient care.

Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery processes.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols, especially regarding hygiene and patient safety.Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license with specialized training in operating room nursing.

Proven experience as an OT Nurse or in a similar role within a surgical setting.

Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Workplace Culture
