Job Title : OT In charge (Immediate Joining Requested ) Location : Sunrise Hospital -Pala - Ponkunnam Rd, Kaduvamuzhi, Erattupetta, Kerala 686121 Department : Surgery/Operation Theatre Employment Type : Full-Time Number of Vacancies : 1 Qualifications and Requirements : Experience: Minimum 5 years of OT experience in a multispecialty or tertiary care hospital At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in the OT Education: B.Sc. Nursing / Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent Additional certifications in surgical care or hospital administration is a plus * Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization practices Team leadership, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage high-stress situations and respond to emergencies effectively Knowledge of NABH/JCI standards (preferred) Proficiency in documentation, scheduling, and inventory management Key Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate daily OT activities, schedules, and staffing Ensure all surgeries are conducted smoothly and safely, in accordance with hospital policies Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards Monitor inventory and availability of surgical instruments, equipment, and medicines Conduct pre-operative checks and assist in emergency preparedness Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams to ensure seamless operations Train and evaluate OT staff on protocols, techniques, and equipment usage Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for OT activities Participate in audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of OT infrastructure and machinery Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
