The Cloud Architect role involves creating architectural tenets and providing technology framework and best practices to support Finacles" cloud native journey. You will focus on designing systems and services that operate on cloud platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, and RedHat OpenShift. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that applications are designed and optimized for cost-effectiveness, elastic scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery. You will be tasked with developing a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns based on the Finacles product portfolio for deploying services to the Cloud. As a Cloud Architect, you must showcase leadership by supporting decisions with research, data, and rationale. You should be able to present multiple options, their respective advantages and disadvantages, and provide a recommendation. It is essential to have a working knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Services and a solid understanding of Kubernetes" internal architecture, tools, and challenges related to scaling enterprise-wide. Your expertise should extend to setting up Kubernetes clusters and designing end-to-end container management solutions, including cloud automation with AWS, Azure, and other platforms. Building and deploying Docker containers to transition from monolithic apps to microservices for improved developer workflow, scalability, and speed optimization are crucial aspects of this role. Furthermore, familiarity with key DevOps technologies such as Docker, Cloud Formation, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Deploy, and AWS Code Commit CI/CD services is required. Proficiency in common development workflows using revision control systems like GIT or SVN is also necessary. A strong grasp of core architectural concepts, including distributed computing, scalability, availability, and performance, is expected. You should possess in-depth knowledge of deploying, managing, and monitoring AWS Cloud Infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ELB, RDS, and AWS network security setup. Experience in CloudFormation for orchestrating various AWS services, defining migration strategies, designing AWS network architecture, and troubleshooting problems across different technology layers in a Linux environment are key components of this role. Overall, the Cloud Architect plays a critical role in guiding Finacles" cloud initiatives and ensuring the effective utilization of cloud platforms for optimal performance and efficiency.,
