Job Purpose: The individual is responsible for resolving customer initiated service orders that become held for OSP facilities and managing OSP facility inventory and address management databases. The individual will interact with various groups including Call Center, Planning, Engineering, Circuit Design, E-911, Loop Assignment Center and Field Operations. This individual is responsible for taking complete ownership of all aspects of managing OSP facilities for FTTH, VDSL, copper, and T1 networks as well as the address management databases. The individual must display a balanced approach between day to day operations, managing work queues, managing projects, understanding the needs of internal and external customers, handling multiple escalations and priorities and understanding the teams role in the company. Essential Functions: Resolve service order which fail to automatically assign OSP facilities in addition to supporting repair technicians with facility related issues for any of the following services: Copper T1 or T1E POTS, ADSL/VDSL internet, RF video, IPTV video Manage the address and OSP facility inventory systems to support the service ordering process.
