Job Title: Draughtsman Function: Engineering Job Holder: Location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai Level: M4 Reports to: Engineering Manager and Design Engineer Reportees: Position Summary: Draughtsman is responsible for supporting Engineering Manager and assist to Sr. Draughtsman for the India office’s operational efficiency by ensuring that adequate support is provided at all stages of crane manufacturing. He will be responsible for the maintenance of all part numbers and drawings pertaining to all existing & proposed crane projects. The job holder is responsible for providing support in product development as per customer specification and applicable code requirements. Generation of drawings and part numbers coordination with other departments is the essentials of this position. Key Responsibilities: Check the sketches given by design engineer and ensure the availability of sufficient and necessary details. Drawing the final drawings in the AUTOCAD as per the instructions Run a self-check list for the drawings to ensure that there are no errors in the drawing Submit the final drawings to checker/design engineer for checking Communicate with design engineer, manager-design and various departments to get the maximum inputs Complete the drawings within the given time limit Involve in innovation and continuous product improvement Ensure that QMS is being followed. Maintenance of records and all required documents in ERP software and as per client requirements and as per API. Adherence to Safety & QMS procedures laid down by the organization. Person Specifications: PROFILE: The Draughtsman is a person who can provide necessary support in design & development of the Cranes. A Engineering person with a strong technical understanding is required in this position. Must have Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (AutoCAD Course) in Mechanical stream. Experience: Should have min 2-3 yrs experience as Diploma or 3 to 4 years’ experience as ITI (AutoCAD Course), of which at least 1 years in Fabrication, Heavy Engineering industry. Job Title: Assembly Manager Function: Manufacturing Job Holder: Location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai Level: M2 Reports to: General Manager Reportees: Assembly team Position Summary: The Assembly Manager ensures that all the crane assembly-related concerns are addressed on time. The job holder responsible for execution of crane assembly work of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical system/equipment’s. The job holder also needs to provide input to the various departments based on knowledge and experience. In addition, the job holder will set up procedures and systems for the department to get good service experience. Key Responsibilities: Planning timely execution of the crane assembly which includes reviewing and organizing the requirements of resources including Manpower, Materials, Spare parts, Equipment’s etc. Providing strong technical support to all relevant departments whenever required. Trouble shooting in various Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment’s at the time of crane assembly and in onshore / offshore as well. Providing support for crane installation as per the requirements. Conducting site surveys and preparing a detailed execution plan and communicating the same with the Production Manager. Preparing Standard operating procedures and implementing the same, ensuring that they are practiced effectively. Timely reporting of the updates on the Department performance to the management. If required, Supporting Production team at all stages of production. Reviewing the documentation process as per the requirements specified by API standards. Coaching the team and developing them in the areas which will help the organization to meet future needs. To manage the performance of the subordinates through monitoring & developmental activities to ensure that the team goals are met To continuously coach and mentor people and build a collaborative culture in the team Implementing Systems & Procedures in line with corporate guidelines & as per required Quality Standards.
