Job Title: Safety Engineer MEP Industry Location: Sohna,Haryana Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Reporting To: HSE Manager / Project Manager Experience Required: 3–8 years (MEP Projects preferred) Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Engineering with NEBOSH/IOSH certification Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across MEP project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting safety audits, and implementing safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Key Responsibilities: Ensure site compliance with health and safety regulations and company HSE policies. Conduct daily site inspections and risk assessments for MEP activities. Monitor and control hazardous activities, especially those involving electrical works, HVAC installation, fire protection systems, and plumbing. Coordinate with project and site teams to implement corrective actions on observed violations. Lead toolbox talks, safety induction, and training sessions for workers and staff. Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and safety violations; prepare reports with preventive measures. Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend improvements. Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce usage. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols. Assist in emergency preparedness and conduct mock drills. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of MEP construction safety standards and regulations. Strong observational and analytical skills. Familiarity with safety tools, equipment, and documentation. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation. Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure.
