As a Network Security Architect within the Cybersecurity Architecture Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive review and redesign of the current network security infrastructure and capabilities across on-premises, client, and hybrid-cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include influencing changes in existing control standards, developing new IT security standards that are easily understandable to stakeholders, creating specific security patterns and diagrams, and overseeing the relevant 3-year capability roadmap. Your role will be essential in promoting a Security-First mindset throughout DTCC's technology modernization journey. Your primary responsibilities will involve producing security architecture deliverables related to network modernization and the Zero Trust paradigm, identifying security gaps and proposing solutions, serving as the subject matter expert for Network Security enterprise-wide, inspiring team members and junior staff, designing and optimizing solutions to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure, creating and driving the internal and client network security capability roadmap, driving the Zero Trust network modernization roadmap, influencing changes in control policies, creating IT security standards and best practices, leading the technical analysis of network security capabilities, identifying automation opportunities for network security controls, mentoring junior security architects, delivering executive architecture presentations and demonstrations, staying updated on changes in the security landscape and cybersecurity frameworks, presenting thought leadership in security field through white papers and industry conference presentations, and aligning risk and control processes into daily responsibilities. Qualifications: - 7+ years of related experience - Bachelor's degree preferred in STEM areas such as Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Management, Big Data & Analytics Talents Needed for Success: - Strong Information Security experience, particularly in the network security domain - Solid working knowledge with Next Gen firewalls and features like URL, IPS, malware and content filtering, proxies, WAFs, traffic capturing and inspection technologies - Expertise in performing deep packet troubleshooting with Wireshark - Proficiency in Zero Trust paradigm and network pillar designs aligned with Zero Trust best practices - Working knowledge with vendors such as Palo Alto NGFW, F5 LTM, APM, GSLB/GTM, Zscaler, Akamai, AWS network primitives, Azure network primitives - Experience in routing protocols and switching, WAN deployments, Python, networking fundamentals, OS security, Information Security frameworks, Active Directory, Public DNS, PKI, SSL Certificate management, and analytical troubleshooting skills - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills - Ability to work under pressure, make sound decisions in emergencies, and communicate effectively - Demonstrated collaboration skills and willingness to learn and adapt to changes This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of network security infrastructure and play a significant role in DTCC's technology modernization journey.,
