As a Senior QA Engineer at Cognyte, you will be an essential part of our team dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for meticulously analyzing customer requirements, developing and executing test plans, and identifying any issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and customer representatives, is crucial to maintain and meet quality standards at every phase of the project. Your role will involve testing complex communication and cyber intelligence solutions under high load, working with diverse simulators for traffic generation and multi-user simulation, overseeing comprehensive load systems, conducting performance testing at customer sites globally, and performing benchmarking, stress, and stability testing. Additionally, you will be involved in both manual and automated testing using test equipment and tools. To excel in this position, you must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a software performance team leader and 7 years as a software performance engineer with extensive communications systems expertise. Your background should also include experience with multi-disciplinary systems, the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, and a profound understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix. Furthermore, familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware, Citrix, and Hyper-V is essential.
