The Orthotic Administrator is employed to assist in the effective delivery of Administrative Support to the Orthotics Department Practitioners as part of the Orthotic Admin Team. Main Duties/Responsibilities Answering all telephone queries from wards, patients/ carers, suppliers and other Health professionals. Passing this information to the Orthotists. Use of GL system for booking in and query of goods. Giving non-clinical advice to patients/carers and others significant to them by phone about the Orthotic service. Matching prescribed products to patients and arranging appointments for those patients. Entering data collected by others onto electronic systems. Dealing with general enquiries seeking advice from the team leader when appropriate.
