Orthopaedic Associate Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal disorders
• Specialize in

  knee replacement

  surgeries and post-operative care
• Work within a unit-based system to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care
• Conduct regular inpatient rounds (morning and evening)
• Assist and independently perform surgical procedures in the operation theatre (OT)
• Attend to OPD consultations and manage orthopaedic emergencies
• Participate in on-call duties every alternate day and on Sundays, as per rotation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in orthopaedic surgical techniques, especially knee replacements
• Strong clinical acumen and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team-based environments
• Commitment to high standards of ethical and evidence-based medical care
