Role Overview: The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s hospitality operations, ensuring robust financial health, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the property. Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and profitability metrics. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure compliance with statutory laws and corporate policies (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Coordinate and supervise audits (statutory, internal, and tax audits). Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management for cost control and revenue optimization. Establish and implement internal controls, SOPs, and financial policies for the hospitality unit. Review contracts, vendor payments, and capital expenditures for financial accuracy and control. Oversee inventory and asset management related to F&B, housekeeping, and operations. Collaborate with operations and department heads to align financial performance with business goals. Handle liaison with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders. Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in hospitality/hotel industry . Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, hospitality accounting practices, and Indian taxation. Proficient in Tally, Excel , and ERP systems; knowledge of hospitality software (like IDS, Opera, or similar) is an advantage. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Preferred Candidate: Based in or willing to relocate to Valsad, Gujarat . Hands-on approach with strong decision-making and team management abilities. Prior experience with pre-opening or resort financial management is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping. Handle accounts payable and receivable entries and reconciliations. Prepare and verify vouchers, bills, invoices, and other supporting documents. Manage bank transactions, deposits, and reconciliations. Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Support statutory compliances like TDS, GST, PF, and PT. Coordinate with internal departments for bill approvals and documentation. Help in preparing financial reports and MIS as required by management. Ensure timely deposit of taxes and filing of returns. Handle vendor and customer account reconciliation. Assist in internal and external audits. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter preferred. 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction industry. Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime , MS Excel, and other accounting software. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable financial regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills.
