You must be proficient in developing General Arrangement Layout of PV Plant, cable routing, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, Main Control Room, Inverter Station, etc. Additionally, you should possess experience and knowledge in all electrical calculations and studies such as cable sizing, earthing, and battery sizing. It is preferable for you to have knowledge of electrical system studies like Short circuit, Load flow, relay setting, and coordination. Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines such as IS, IEC, IEEE, International Guidelines, and guidelines issued by CEA, CERC, MNRE is essential. Experience in independently preparing Techno-commercial feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports, Resource assessment, and Energy Yield Assessment for Solar PV projects is required. An added advantage would be experience in conducting energy yield for solar plants independently using simulation software like PV SYST, SAM, etc. Knowledge of working in wind power projects and basic understanding of storage concepts is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating documents and writing reports according to specifications is necessary. You should also be capable of conducting research and traveling to sites, demonstrating time management and professionalism. As part of your role, you will work on various National and International projects related to Solar, Wind, Hybrid, and Storage projects, involving Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Owners Engineering, and Lenders Engineering. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in the renewable industry, preferably in consulting within the mentioned areas. In addition to technical skills, good communication skills in English, strong interpersonal skills, self-discipline, the ability to work on multiple projects as a team member or Project Manager, excellent organizing abilities, and proficiency in prioritizing tasks and coordination are expected. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is essential, while a Master's Degree in Energy Studies, Energy System Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Solar Energy is preferable.
