As a dynamic and seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be joining our Executive Leadership Team to oversee the overall operations of the organization. Located at our headquarters in MG Road, Bangalore, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing internal systems, and aligning cross-functional teams with strategic business objectives. Working closely with the CMD and senior leaders, you will play a crucial role in implementing growth strategies, expanding operations, and ensuring organizational agility. Your leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and successful track record in managing and transforming organizations in fast-paced, multi-functional environments will be key to your success in this role. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong educational background, holding an MBA or an equivalent postgraduate degree from a top-tier business school such as IIMs, ISB, or their global equivalents. You should possess a solid academic foundation in Business Administration, Operations Management, Strategy, and general management. In terms of experience, you should have a minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with at least 10-15 years in a senior executive or C-level position. Your proven expertise in building and expanding operational functions, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful results will be highly valued. While an industry-neutral approach is preferred, previous experience in sectors like construction, food manufacturing, or other progressive industries will be advantageous.
