Our mission is to empower a sustainable future through clean energy innovation. We are looking for a driven and passionate Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. Job Summary As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, educating them about solar energy solutions, and closing sales to drive company revenue. You will act as the first point of contact between the client and our engineering team, ensuring a smooth handover for execution. Key Responsibilities Generate leads through various channels – cold calling, field visits, referrals, digital platforms, and events. Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and the company’s offerings. Conduct site assessments and coordinate with technical teams for feasibility studies. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and financial ROI models to clients. Negotiate and close contracts with residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Maintain CRM systems to track customer interactions, proposals, and conversions. Coordinate with internal engineering and installation teams for smooth project execution. Stay updated on solar technology, market trends, and government policies/incentives. Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and community events. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in solar or renewable energy sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work independently. Basic technical understanding of solar systems (training will be provided). Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
