As an Infoscion, your primary role within the consulting team at Infosys will involve actively supporting various phases of projects. This includes tasks such as defining problems, estimating efforts, diagnosing issues, generating solutions, designing solutions, and deploying them. You will be responsible for researching and exploring alternative solutions, conducting literature surveys, evaluating vendors, and creating proof of concepts (POCs). Additionally, you will be required to develop requirement specifications based on business needs, define processes, and create detailed functional designs. Your responsibilities will also include configuring solution requirements, identifying and resolving issues, seeking clarifications, and presenting solution alternatives. Contribution to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at providing high-quality solutions to customers is also expected. In terms of technical requirements, the ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Cloud WMS and Oracle Logfire, with a strong manufacturing background. Functional experience in configuring Oracle WMS Cloud applications for inbound and outbound shipments is essential. Knowledge of various processes such as Purchase to Invoice, Warehouse Inbound Receipts, Warehouse Pick Pack Ship, Shipment Transportation, Inbound Process, Outbound Process, Fusion Order Management, Order Shipping, Inventory Management, Procurement, and other SCM Cloud Modules is also required. Familiarity with Facility item master configurations and Cloud Support processes is preferred. Experience in conducting client workshops, solution designing, and configuration is advantageous. Furthermore, the role entails working closely with clients to identify business challenges, refine, analyze, and structure relevant data for client deliverables. An awareness of the latest technologies and trends, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively are key attributes for this position. The candidate should be capable of assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing technology-driven solutions. A foundational understanding of industry domains is desirable. Preferred skills for this role include expertise in Supply Chain Management, specifically Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a focus on technology-driven solutions.
