Oversee resource management, maintenance activities, and performance tuning of production databases. Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security. Migration and Upgrades: Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management. Lead data migration projects, including transitioning from other database systems to Greenplum. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyse database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Implement performance tuning measures to optimize database operations. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain shell scripts for database automation tasks, including backup and restore processes, data extraction, and ETL workflows.
