Under Design BU Team Leader’s supervision and under Site Manager’s responsibility locally, you will contribute to Layout Multi-layer PCB designs using CAD equipment to Design information supplied and to prepare to sufficient level for manufacture. You will also be in charge of: - Send designs to manufacture; - Help support all other PCB designers with technical CAD and electronic experience; - Provide technical assistance as required in the design, development and integration of customer requirements; - Support Global Library duties including component creation and part checking for approvals. Key Responsibilities : - Provide technical support to Sales, advising on the application of products to meet customer requirements and participating in early-stage project discussion; - Translate Design Package requirements into accurate layout designs aligned with customer preferences and specifications under the supervision of the Design Manager; - Review project inputs with Sales and Account Managers, ensuring all required information is available; research and resolve unclear or incorrect data by coordinating with internal teams and customers; - Perform design checks and validations, including compliance with design rules, QA specifications, and customer requirements; conduct DRC (Design Rule Checks) and MRC (Manufacturing Rule Checks) prior to production; - Serve as a technical liaison for the design team, offering troubleshooting support and resolving technical issues that arise during layout or prototyping phases; - Support manufacturing processes, providing engineering guidance during production ramp-up and evaluating rejected boards for possible rework or corrective actions; - Develop and maintain productivity tools, design rules, stacking charts, and component libraries to improve department efficiency and output quality. - Collaborate with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and Test equipment manufacturers to define and quote special hardware solutions, including probe card adapters, docking systems, and cable interfaces; - Train new employees and ensure internal records are kept up to date on relevant platforms and systems; - Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards and represent quality interests (MRQ) during design revisions, customer communications, and project reviews. Profile Requirements: - Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; - From 3 years and more of relevant experience in Semiconductor industry would be a plus; - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention in detail; - Strong communication and leadership skills; - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; - Willing to join a dynamic team with technical challenges.
