Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Business Development Intern, located in New Delhi. The intern will be responsible for market research, lead generation, and customer service. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, communicating with potential clients, and assisting in the development of business strategies. Key Responsibilities Engage with prospective clients (students & parents) via telecalling from our database of warm leads. Clearly communicate Orbis Advisors’ services and USPs to interested leads. Track and maintain records of all outreach and follow-up activities. Support the sales team in converting leads to clients by setting up consultations or closing low-ticket services directly. Coordinate internally with the counselling and admissions teams to ensure smooth onboarding. Achieve weekly outreach targets and assist with improving lead conversion strategies. Ideal Candidate Background Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities Prior experience (internship) in education consulting, Studying abroad services, ed-tech or related sectors Effective Communication and Customer Service skills Comfortable with cold & warm emailing Basic knowledge of study abroad destinations & admissions process is a plus Experience in Lead Generation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field What you'll gain? Role Overview We’re on the lookout for a confident and persuasive Business Development Executive to handle warm inbound leads and convert them into consultations and sign-ups.
