Oranje Kracht (OKE) is in the business of energy efficiency. Energy storage is one of its product offerings. OKE manufactures battery packs using the new-age lithium-ion and related chemistry. Customized solutions for various applications, including backup (UPS/inverter), large-scale backup, renewable energy storage, mobility, and others, are the cornerstone of the company. The current position is to support the sales activity of energy storage in multiple applications. The position is based out of its development center and office located in Wagle Estate, Thane. Roles and Responsibilities Sales of energy storage (battery storage) for backup (UPS/Inverter) applications, renewable applications, mobile applications, and other special projects. As the team expands, specific product area specializations will be created. Capability to manage separate sales methods/channels for regular backup applications and other customized projects. Establish appropriate product /service specifications with the engineering and production team. Planning and execution, together with the production team. Represent companies at events and exhibitions. Coordinate post-sales activity with the service team. Ensure adherence to specifications and certifications. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Diploma, BE, Btech), BSc Physics or Industrial Design. Commercial graduation (BCom/BMS) with an MBA and relevant experience will also be considered. ITI with experience will also be considered. Graduates and postgraduates in the above disciplines will be considered. Respective qualifications will bring in respective domain strength, and this will be taken into consideration. Demonstrable experience in sales of technical goods/projects selling in the mechanical, electrical, or electronics industry. Exposure to energy backup, renewables, and e-mobility will be considered an advantage, but not mandatory. Experience in building and handling channel partners will be an advantage. Knowledge of standards and testing methods for electrical /electronic goods will be required. Experience in the energy storage/battery pack industry will be an advantage, but is not mandatory. Travel in line with sales activity will be expected.

Job Title: CAD Engineer - Lithium Battery Systems Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to join our lithium battery engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 2D/3D models, detailed drawings, and design documentation for lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and associated components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in mechanical design, thermal systems, electronics, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Design 2D and 3D CAD models of battery enclosures, modules, and components using software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and GD&T annotations. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineers to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and performance. Support rapid prototyping, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFA (Design for Assembly) efforts. Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, interference checks, and material selection. Revise designs based on feedback from testing, manufacturing, or suppliers. Maintain document control and version management using PLM or PDM systems. Work with suppliers to ensure technical drawings meet manufacturing standards and specifications. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input during product development stages. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 1 to 3 years of experience as a CAD Engineer, preferably in energy storage, EV, or automotive sectors. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or similar). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, injection molding, CNC machining, etc.). Knowledge of thermal management and structural design related to battery packs is a plus. Familiarity with lithium-ion battery architecture, BMS housing, and safety standards (UL, IEC, ISO). Experience with PLM/PDM tools (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SolidWorks PDM). Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience in battery pack design or EV powertrain components. Familiarity with thermal analysis or structural FEA tools (e.g., Ansys, COMSOL). Understanding of battery certification and regulatory requirements (e.g., UN 38.3, UL 2580). Basic electrical or PCB layout understanding is a plus. Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Ability to work in an office, lab, and occasional factory floor environments. Occasional travel to suppliers or manufacturing partners may be required.
