Oracle/PostgreSql Developer

You will be responsible for understanding the data and performing data analysis to support building new reports and modifying existing reports. Additionally, you will need to analyze users" needs and design as necessary. You will be required to perform code promotions and test that reports are operating correctly. It is essential to perform a Technical Review of requirements, analyze source data, and provide gap analysis. Collaboration, coordination, and communication across disciplines and departments are key aspects of this role. Researching, constructing, developing, and testing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for new reports will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate cross-functional projects, interact with all areas of the organization, and communicate with end users on report or environment issues. Using structured coding methodology and code once use many times methodology for reusable code development is crucial. Conducting code reviews/walk-throughs and unit testing of code developed by contract or new developers is also expected. You will collaborate with team members to develop program units that seamlessly integrate into the overall system. Qualifications required for this role include: - Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, ASP, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and XML. - Experience with XML, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Scripting. - Proficiency in using RDBMS systems such as Oracle & SQL Server. - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. - Heavy database experience along with knowledge/exposure to some middle-tier technology.,
