Pearson is seeking an Oracle Apps EBS Technical Architect The position will primarily be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued You will get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment demonstrating customer centricity and innovation You will lead projects which are important for Pearson's roadmap You will ensure adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes, Key Responsibilities Technical Design and Implementation: Design and architect Oracle EBS R12 solutions, Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on Oracle EBS R12 architecture, Develop and maintain PL/SQL code for customizations and integrations, Identify problems and root cause fixes, Identify and implement reusable assets and components, Participate in designing solutions for Cloud Roadmap Performance Tuning And Optimization Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the EBS environment, Optimize database queries and procedures for improved performance, RICE Development Develop and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions (RICE) for EBS, Understand functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions, Troubleshooting And Problem Solving Identify and resolve technical issues and errors in the EBS environment, Provide technical solutions and implement necessary fixes, Collaboration And Communication Work with functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams, Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to stakeholders, Mentoring And Training Mentor junior technical staff and provide technical guidance, Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Oracle EBS, Technical Skills Required In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and services in Oracle's cloud platform, Familiarity with Oracle EBS R12 architecture and modules, Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL, Working knowledge in performance tuning, Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and Web Applications, Familiarity with Oracle Workflows or OAF, Development Skills Experience with RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) development, Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI reports, Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Problem-solving and analytical skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Preferred Experience in application upgrades and migration to Oracle Cloud, Experience in implementing and managing enterprise resource planning solutions, including financials, supply chain, and procurement on Oracle ERP cloud, Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, Minimum 12 years of experience working with Oracle EBS R12 Oracle certifications are a plus,
