Oracle to Postgres on Azure migration

Role Overview: You will be responsible for evaluating on-premises transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL and planning migrations to AWS RDS and Aurora. Additionally, you will enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL for migrating from source database to target database, identify workarounds for specific issues during migration, and develop test plans and test cases to ensure database readiness post migration. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate on-premises transactional database environments and plan migrations to AWS RDS and Aurora - Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL for migration - Identify workarounds for specific migration issues - Develop test plan and test cases for post-migration database readiness Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred - 6+ years of experience in database development/migration using Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL - Hands-on experience with AWS Services like RDS, Aurora, SCT, DMS - Experience migrating large databases (>1TB) across multiple database engines - Experience with heterogenous database migrations - Proficiency in performance optimization techniques - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills - Proficiency in scripting languages like bash/Perl/python - Experience in Database Administration including backup/restore, replication, etc.,
