The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role that involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will be tasked with conducting activities related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and implementing new or revised applications systems and programs to address specific business needs or user areas. Monitoring and controlling all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, as well as providing user and operational support on applications to business users will also be part of your role. Your expertise in applications development will be crucial in analyzing complex problems/issues, evaluating business process, system process, and industry standards, and making evaluative judgments. Operating with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members are also expected from you. When making business decisions, you should appropriately assess risks, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This involves driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.
