As a Cloud Solution Architect at Airtel, you will play a crucial role in understanding the business objectives, current/target state architecture, future vision, and migration path for Airtel's cloud products and solutions. You will be responsible for translating business requirements and challenges into technical solutions using enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Additionally, you will participate in end-to-end RFP/bidding processes alongside sales and other technical teams. Your key responsibilities will include preparing technical solutions in response to RFP/tender documents, presenting these solutions to clients" C-level executives and technical teams, and devising costing estimates for various services offered. You will be involved in requirement gathering, architecture/design, executing proof of concept, integration architecture, and creating bill of material/pricing. In this role, you will demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in cloud architecture and implementation features such as OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability, security, DevOps, management, and migration. Collaboration with business teams, enterprise cloud architecture team, and product teams will be essential to deliver the right solutions to enterprise customers. Furthermore, you will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure well-architected cloud solutions. Your role will also involve coaching and mentoring other team members on cloud standards, frameworks, and being a vital enabler of the team's cultural change for cloud adoption. You will lead the definition and development of cloud reference architecture and management systems. Additional skills required for this role include experience in designing and delivering solutions involving hyperscale cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google on cloud adoption/transformation projects. Experience with private cloud solutions like Openstack and Nutanix will be advantageous. You should have delivered successful cloud transformation projects and have a good understanding of private cloud solutions such as Nutanix, Redhat, and Oracle PCA. Your expertise should extend to cloud native services such as compute, virtual networking, storage, NLB/ALB, cloud alerting, cloud notification, DBaaS, CDN, and Kubernetes. You must be well-versed in infrastructure as code, DevOps, and cloud automation technologies and practices. Knowledge of languages and scripting frameworks for cloud automation and integration, as well as industry-standard cloud architect certifications, are essential. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good negotiation skills, and logical thinking abilities are required for this role.
