Oracle Hyperion Essbase Developer

As a Developer with 3-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading the technical analysis of existing Hyperion applications for migration planning. This will involve mapping Hyperion dimensions and hierarchies to SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), converting Hyperion calculation scripts to equivalent SQL/MDX expressions, and ensuring data integrity during the migration process. You will also be tasked with developing migration validation procedures, creating parallel testing environments, and documenting migration procedures and technical specifications. Your role will also include creating technical and functional documentation, developing user training materials, and documenting system configurations and changes. You should have expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting, Smart View, and Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM/FDMEE). Additionally, some knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, VBScript, and JavaScript will be required. Desirable skills for this position include an understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, as well as knowledge of financial consolidation processes.
