Job Description

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

    Collect and analyze client business requirements to identify how Oracle Financials can meet their needs.
  • Solution Design:

    Map business requirements to Oracle modules (like General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management) and design solutions.
  • Configuration:

    Configure the Oracle Financials application to align with the designed solutions.
  • Testing:

    Develop test scripts, perform functional testing, and support users during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Implementation & Support:

    Assist with new implementations and provide ongoing support to resolve functional and operational issues in the Oracle environment.
  • User Training:

    Conduct workshops and train end-users on the financial modules and new processes.
  • Documentation:

    Prepare functional specifications, test cases, user guides, and other project documentation.
  • Process Improvement:

    Advise clients on best practices and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and data accuracy.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Domain Expertise:

    Strong understanding of financial concepts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  • Oracle Applications:

    Proficiency with Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial modules.
  • Consulting Skills:

    Ability to analyze business challenges, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and build strong client relationships.
  • Problem-Solving:

    Skill in diagnosing root causes of issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong analytical and reasoning skills for data analysis and process refinement.
  • Methodologies:

    Familiarity with implementation methodologies like AIM or OUM.
  • Technical Awareness:

    Awareness of the latest technologies and trends in the Oracle and financial systems space.
