Oracle DBA

As a Senior Software Engineer at Elevance Health, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining the performance of database servers, administering various database systems like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and developing processes to optimize database security. You will also be expected to set and maintain database standards, manage database access, and perform performance tuning of database systems. Additionally, you will install, upgrade, and manage database applications, diagnose and troubleshoot database errors, and recommend and implement emerging database technologies. Your role will involve creating automation for repetitive database tasks, ensuring excellent oral and written communication skills, and providing 24/7 support to application teams for SQL/PLSQL code re-write and DB level changes. Collaboration with Core DBA teams and conducting training sessions for application teams on Advanced PLSQL concepts will be essential. Qualifications for this role include a B.E degree with at least 5 years of experience, along with skills in communication, Oracle DBA, and Oracle PL_SQL Developer.
