                                As a highly skilled GCP Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Oracle systems, Oracle Data Integration (ODI), BigQuery, and Google Vertex AI Search, your role will involve owning the end-to-end solution architecture, driving data integration flows, and providing technical leadership and hands-on delivery. Your key responsibilities include:  - **Solution Ownership & Architecture**:   - Define and own the end-to-end architecture for integrating Oracle product data with Google Vertex AI Search.   - Design, document, and govern data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and indexing of product data.   - Establish best practices for scalability, availability, and performance of the search solution.  - **Data Flow Development & Governance**:   - Build and manage ETL/ELT processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Data Fusion, and other GCP-native services.   - Ensure proper schema mappings between Oracle product catalog structures and Vertex AI Search index schema.   - Implement error handling, monitoring, and automated reconciliation of data flows.  - **Hands-on Delivery & Technical Leadership**:   - Work as an individual contributor while also acting as a technical leader, mentoring junior team members and guiding cross-functional stakeholders.   - Collaborate closely with client teams to resolve issues in Oracle data sources, transformation logic, and schema mismatches.   - Provide expertise on Oracle database structures, JSON schema transformation, and search indexing strategies.  - **Client Engagement & Ownership**:   - Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client on this engagement.   - Demonstrate strong self-ownership, accountability, and proactive issue resolution across the solution lifecycle.   - Support the client in issue triaging related to Oracle source systems and Vertex AI Search integration.  - **Search Experience Optimization**:   - Establish schema mapping rules to ensure product data from Oracle is properly optimized for semantic search, filtering, and recommendations in Vertex AI Search.   - Tune search relevance, ranking signals, and indexing strategy for e-commerce use cases.   - Support A/B testing, performance tuning, and incremental rollout of Vertex AI Search features.  **Required Skills & Experience**: - **Mandatory Expertise**:   - Strong experience with Oracle Database and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).   - Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Data Fusion, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI Search.   - Strong understanding of JSON schema design and transformations for search optimization.   - Hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale data ingestion and search indexing pipelines.  - **Solutioning & Leadership**:   - Experience in solution architecture, system integration, and cloud-native design patterns.   - Ability to lead technically while still contributing as an individual contributor.   - Demonstrated ability to engage with client stakeholders and resolve complex technical challenges.  - **Soft Skills**:   - Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.   - Excellent communication skills for presenting technical solutions to business stakeholders.   - Problem-solving attitude with the ability to manage ambiguity and client escalations.  **Nice-to-Have Skills**: - Knowledge of search migration projects (Algolia to Vertex AI or equivalent). - Familiarity with e-commerce product data structures and search relevance tuning. - Experience with recommendation systems, semantic search, or AI-driven search engines.  In this engagement as a GCP Cloud Solution Architect focusing on Vertex AI Search & Data Integration, you are expected to have 12+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in GCP and a strong background in Oracle & data engineering. This is a full-time, client-facing, ownership-driven role where your expertise will be crucial in driving successful outcomes for the client.,
