You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient database solutions using SQL Server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), or other ETL tools. Your role will involve creating and managing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases or data warehouses. Additionally, you will develop stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers to support application development and optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and other database components. Collaboration with data architects, business analysts, and other teams will be essential to ensure that business needs are met through data solutions. You will also be required to create and schedule SSIS packages to automate data workflows, troubleshoot and resolve database performance, data integrity, and data quality issues, and ensure proper documentation of database architecture, ETL processes, and reporting requirements. Maintaining data security and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations, and implementing and maintaining database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies will be part of your responsibilities. You should have experience in Oracle PLSQL development, Oracle SQL performance query tuning, Oracle architecture, writing functions, procedures, packages, and complex SQL queries using joins, hints, indexes, etc. Moreover, you will help write and optimize in-application SQL statements, ensure performance, security, and availability of databases, profile server resource usage, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Translating business needs to technical specifications, designing, building, and deploying BI solutions, maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms, and conducting unit testing and troubleshooting are key aspects of the role. Your skills and qualifications should include strong knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers, experience with SSIS or any other ETL tool, expertise in creating and optimizing ETL workflows, automating data loads, and transforming large datasets, experience with database management systems, knowledge of data modeling and database design concepts, familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices, experience with performance tuning and query optimization, strong problem-solving skills, understanding of version control systems and Agile development methodologies, and experience with cloud-based ETL tools or cloud data platforms. Additional experience with cloud-based ETL tools or cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc. would be considered a plus.,
