Job Title: Sales Engineer R&D Engineer Location: Khed city, Pune Department: R&D Engineer – Distillery, Evaporator, Dryer Plant Reports to: Director Technical Industry: Distillery, Evaporator Erection, and Commissioning Company Overview: Raj Process Equipments and Systems Pvt Ltd is one of the leading process equipment manufacturer from India. We are in the business of Turn- key Plants, Dryers, Evaporators , Mixers, Process Equipments, Boilers. Job Summary: The R&D Engineer will be responsible for conducting process trials and research activities for equipment such as distilleries, evaporators, and dryers. This role involves preparation and execution of trials, internal lab experiments, documentation, and supporting new developments and modifications. The ideal candidate should be proactive in handling technical queries and contribute to innovations in process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct trials on dryers, evaporators, and distillery units . Prepare equipment before trials, including boil-up and water cleaning . Respond to technical questions regarding equipment and processes during trials. Perform internal lab trials for new developments in coordination with the R&D team. Generate and analyse data during ongoing trials and maintain detailed records. Provide information about pilot equipment , its usage, and associated cost benefits. Research and study new technologies or developments based on project requirements. Prepare Equipment Cleaning Reports (ECR) after/on-going cleaning or boil-up. Maintain proper records of client trials and log sheets during execution. Collaborate with seniors to assess material requirements and place necessary requests. Calculate material balances and perform troubleshooting during trials. Assist in piping modifications or new developments under mentor guidance. Collect trial samples and follow up for scheduled trial dates. Preferred Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with R&D trials in distilleries, evaporators, or dryers Strong analytical and documentation skills Understanding of process engineering principles Good communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of pilot plant equipment and lab operations Experience Required: 1 to 3 years in Production and/or R&D (Preferably in Distillery, Evaporator, Dryer operations) Education Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering OR B.Sc. in Chemistry or relevant field
