As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting eye examinations to detect vision problems and diagnosing diseases related to the eyes based on symptoms. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's or Doctor of Optometry degree and possess a valid state optometry license. A strong knowledge of optometry practices and procedures is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
