Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our reputable healthcare facility. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, binocular vision, and ocular health conditions. 2. Diagnose and manage eye diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome. 3. Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, to address refractive errors and optimize visual acuity. 4. Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on proper eye care practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. 5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists, to ensure coordinated patient care and appropriate referrals when necessary. 6. Conduct specialized tests, such as visual field testing, retinal imaging, and corneal topography, to assess and monitor ocular conditions. 7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care. 8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations. 9. Educate and counsel patients on the proper use and maintenance of contact lenses, including fitting and follow-up evaluations. 10. Promote eye health and preventive care through patient education, community outreach programs, and participation in public health initiatives.
