Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist to join our eye care team. The Optometrist will conduct eye examinations, diagnose vision problems, and provide suitable corrective solutions to ensure excellent patient care and eye health management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
Valid registration/license with relevant Optometry Council.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, ethical, and patient-friendly approach.
Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine eye examinations and vision tests.
Diagnose visual problems, eye diseases, and other ocular conditions.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
Provide guidance on proper eye care, vision hygiene, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate patient records and prescriptions.
Use specialized equipment for testing vision and eye health.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when required.
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses as needed.
Educate patients about lens care and visual ergonomics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
