Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Garment Pattern Master to join our team. As a Pattern Master, you will be responsible for creating high-quality patterns for our garment products. You should have strong knowledge of pattern making software such as Optitex, Gerber, and others. Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate and precise patterns for garment of various styles, fit and designs. - Work with designers to understand design requirements and create patterns accordingly. - Use pattern making software such as Optitex, Gerber, and others to create and modify patterns - Ensure patterns meet quality and fit standards - Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth production process. - Troubleshoot pattern-related issues and provide solutions. - Preparing size-set patterns - Perform fit analysis using virtual 3D simulations or physical samples and make accurate pattern corrections. - Adapt patterns for different sizes and styles, making necessary adjustments while maintaining design integrity. - Digitize already existing patterns or design/ recreate patterns from a already existing sample. - Organize and maintain the digital pattern library, ensuring patterns are updated, stored correctly, and easily accessible. - Stay informed about the latest pattern-making techniques, software updates, and industry trends to improve efficiency and quality. - Prepare and manage technical specs, construction sheets, and size charts . - Create optimized marker layouts to ensure minimal fabric wastage while maintaining construction quality. - Stay informed about different fabric types, their behavior , and their impact on fit and construction. - Perform grading to ensure proper size range fit and consistency. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or Garment Engineering At least 5 years of experience in garment pattern making Strong knowledge of pattern making software such as Optitex, Gerber, and others. Strong knowledge of 3D visualization of patterns/ garments.
