As a Solution Architect at Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for leading technical pre-sales activities for the Cordant Process Optimization solution. This solution combines process domain knowledge with advanced machine learning techniques to provide innovative process optimization solutions for various industrial processes such as LNG, syngas processes, gas processing, petrochemicals, and refining. Key Responsibilities: - Support the sales teams in identifying, quantifying, and presenting complex process optimization opportunities to customers - Develop technical proposals for process optimization in industries such as LNG, fertilizers, gas processing, refining, and olefins - Serve as a technical lead in advising the product team on industry use cases, ideation, and feature implementation - Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and customers to drive the adoption of AI/ML-based process optimization applications - Stay informed of industry technology and innovation, and disseminate new technology information to the Baker Hughes engineering and services teams - Promote a safe working environment, drive compliance, quality, and EHS culture in the organization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or equivalent - Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions - Experience in process design of industrial processes including LNG, gas processing, syngas processes, refining, and olefins - Proven ability to lead technical implementation of APC and/or optimization projects on complex industrial processes - Business acumen and the ability to provide technical support in customer-facing meetings - Experience working with people in an operating plant or other operational setting Desired Characteristics: - Experience with data-driven/ML-based optimization models - Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills - Expert-level knowledge of APC and optimization technologies and methodologies - Knowledge of plant data-driven process modeling/analytics and its limitations About Us: We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
