The main focus of this position involves optimizing the blade Aerofoil profile of cooling fans to reduce noise, conducting acoustics analysis, and providing design recommendations. You will be responsible for utilizing simulations to identify the best configurations for noise and vibration reduction, participating in physical testing activities to validate simulations, and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance software tools, methodologies, and processes related to aeroacoustics analysis and mitigation. Additionally, you will work on projects related to cooling fan and compressor noise reduction, sheet metal components, and various acoustic materials. Your key responsibilities will include performing NVH simulation activities using CAE tools such as Actran and Ansys Hyperworks, creating finite element models of parts, using CFD tools coupled with acoustic solvers to predict noise levels, analyzing simulation results to identify noise sources, conducting modal analysis, setting NVH targets for HVAC products, performing Noise Transfer Function and Vibration Transfer Function analyses, addressing High/Mid/Low-Frequency issues, correlating simulation results with experimental data, collaborating with engineering teams, conducting optimization studies, and performing automation activities to reduce lead time. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing simulation activities using CAE Tools to deliver validated results in line with design targets. Your role will involve setting NVH targets for passenger cars and developing an NVH target achievement plan. Additionally, you will conduct Noise Transfer Function (NTF), Vibration Transfer Function (VTF), and Acoustic Noise Transfer Function (ATF) analyses using CAE tools. You will also be involved in performing Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) for complete vehicles and sub-systems through simulations. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing High/Mid/Low-Frequency issues at Component, Trim body, and Full vehicle Levels (Vibration & Acoustics). Furthermore, you will conduct correlation studies with Physical tests and provide support during Tests. To enhance performance requirements of structures, you will engage in optimization studies and drive continuous improvement. As a Senior Aerospace Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for performing detailed static analysis on aerostructures, including wings, fuselage, landing gear, floor beams, doors, and other aircraft components using classical hand calculations. Additionally, you will utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as HYPERMESH, NASTRAN, and PATRAN to model and analyze structural performance under various loading conditions. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards, including FAA, EASA, and military regulations, and actively participating in design reviews. Experience with Airbus and Boeing aircraft structures is considered an added advantage. You will be tasked with developing and validating analytical methods using Excel and Macros techniques to predict the behavior of structural components. Working closely with design engineers, you will provide input on material selection, design changes, and manufacturing processes to optimize structural performance, minimize weight, and maintain safety standards. Furthermore, you will lead the preparation of technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis results, design recommendations, and compliance to regulatory bodies and customers. This includes preparing certification standard reports with detailed explanations of procedures followed for analyzing a structure to support Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR). Mitigations and summarizing Reserve factor should be included in the report. As a mentor, you will provide guidance to junior engineers and analysts. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and addressing structural performance risks, providing solutions to enhance overall reliability and performance of aerostructures. Conducting optimization studies to enhance structural efficiency, reduce weight, and improve manufacturability of fuselage components will be part of your role. Exploring design alternatives to achieve optimal performance is also a key aspect of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in stress analysis and design of aerostructures, preferably in the aerospace industry. In-depth knowledge of structural analysis methods, including finite element modeling (FEM), classical hand calculations, and failure theories is required. Proficiency in FEA tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or HYPERMESH is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of aerospace materials, including composites, metals, and advanced alloys, as well as familiarity with aircraft systems and the integration of structures with other aircraft systems. Knowledge of aerospace loads and regulatory standards and certifications (e.g., FAA, EASA) is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are important for success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations, will be crucial. You will be responsible for process configuration and optimization studies, technology evaluation and selection, process modeling and simulation, preparation of PFDs and heat and mass balances, sizing and specification of major process equipment, instrument process data preparation, safety, environmental, and operability reviews (HAZOP, HAZAN), P&ID development, technical proposal development, and conducting techno-commercial discussions with clients. Additionally, you will review process documents with clients. To qualify for this role, you must have a B. E. / M. Tech in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in process design & engineering in process plant or engineering consultancy. You should have expertise in process simulation software (PROII/ ChemCAD/AspenPlus/HYSYS) and heat exchanger design/rating software (HTRI/HTFS), extensive experience in process design, interdisciplinary coordination, and change management, knowledge of various Industry Codes and Standards, domain knowledge and expertise in refinery/petrochemical applications, and sound academics from a reputed institute. Good communication skills in verbal and written English are also required.,
