The job involves working as an Associate Group Head/Group Head in the Media Planning department with a Seniority Level of Senior Level (7-8 Years). You will be responsible for developing, executing, and presenting data-driven media plans from inception to completion. Delegating tasks appropriately to Media Planners and Assistant Media Planners to support plan development and execution will be a key aspect of your role. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that media plans deliver on client objectives, are strategic, and meet efficiency goals. You will oversee and manage the annual planning of media strategy for the account and have a thorough understanding of performance marketing and planning based on different platforms. Utilizing Relationship Media process to develop client recommendations and effectively using tools to guide the team will also be part of your duties. You will be required to present plan recommendations to client teams, ensure flawless execution of plans, and build a comprehensive media knowledge base. Maintaining status reports, acting as a key liaison with internal implementation teams, and managing client requests such as plan changes and budget changes are also part of the role. Additionally, you will lead and manage the budget and client billing process, supervise and train the team, and serve as a positive role model with a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate an understanding of media basics and concepts, have knowledge of optimization platforms and trafficking platforms, and be proficient in using Syndicated tools and Microsoft Office Software. Being a team player and thinking strategically are essential qualities for this position. Qualifications required for this role include a Masters/Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Media Planner & Buyer.
