Role Overview: As a Proposal Manager at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in providing opportunity and bid leadership for specific complex proposals, client accounts, or new services. Your main responsibility is to support the Regional Sales Operations Director and Team Leaders in fostering an inclusive culture within the team that values diversity of thought and embodies Jacobs Culture of Caring. You will be instrumental in bringing the ideas of others to market, exercising good judgment on which ideas work best, and effectively managing the work winning and creative process of others. Your role involves facilitating and leading the application of the end-to-end Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) process to help position Jacobs to win specific projects, programs, and develop meaningful client relationships. Collaboration with Sales Market Directors is key in identifying specific opportunities that contribute to overall growth for the region. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and lead the application of the end-to-end Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) process - Focus on specific opportunities, client accounts, or new services for overall growth in partnership with Outside Sales Market Directors - Advocate and implement a bespoke process - Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Collaborate with Sales Lead and Capture Manager/Operations to develop distinctive value propositions - Leverage global network to identify and present Jacobs unique capabilities and resources - Organize, direct, and motivate multidiscipline opportunity teams to develop sales deliverables for specific proposals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any relevant field with around 10+ years of experience - Proficiency in solution-selling strategy development - Strong writing skills - Experience in marketing/sales coordination - Proficient in facilitation, influencing, and group process - Demonstrated expertise in opportunity/bid/proposal management - Business acumen - Effective time management and task coordination skills - Ability to influence stakeholders Additional Company Details: At Jacobs, a strong focus is placed on valuing people and ensuring a balance of belonging, career growth, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
