Roles and Responsibilities Manage breakdown analysis, preventive & predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Develop and implement effective maintenance planning strategies for timely task completion. Ensure smooth functioning and high efficiency of weaving machines (Airjet, Tsudokama, Sulzer, etc.). Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to avoid machine stoppages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and implement process enhancements using TPM, TQM, 3M, Kaizen, OPL, and 5S System principles. Lead troubleshooting of major breakdowns and drive root cause analysis with corrective & preventive actions. Implement cost-effective maintenance practices and energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, statutory regulations, and EHS standards during all maintenance operations. Train, mentor, and develop maintenance teams to build technical capability. Maintain records of downtime, machine history, and performance KPIs, presenting reports to management. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of weaving machinery. Expertise in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls & automation systems. You should have a qualification of ITI/B.TECH/DIPLOMA in Mechanical with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision manufacturing or textiles. As a Process Engineer in our organization, your primary responsibilities will include managing processes and recipes, controlling pressed shapes, drying, and firing processes. You will be required to analyze daily rejections, develop action plans for yield improvement, and coordinate decisions on raw materials and Finished Goods with the Lab. Additionally, you will be involved in New Product Development, homologation of new raw materials, and the transfer of new products and technologies. Attend Sunrise meeting take action for qc activities on top priorities. Prepare OPL & SOP where ever required. Train & encourage the operators, Qc person about process requirements. Improve the process quality, provide resources for quick checking. Rework & Rejection analysis with operators & supervisors & take Corrective action. Attend the MIS review meeting & business plan meeting. Accuracy of Tool Disc & Tool Holder & CP Cpk stydy. Checking quality documentation & reports & validate. Customer material return handling & complaint handling & corrective action. Quality awareness to operator, development and operation of quality control system. Audit quality systems to efficiency identification and correction like incoming, In process & Final Stage. Assures consistent quality of production by developing and implementing good automated manufacturing practice system by validating processes, providing documentation, Achieve quality operational objectives by contributing information and analysis by plan, Reviews, Preparing a completing action plans, implementing process, productivity, and quality and customer service standards. Maintains & improves systems of Quality audit Collecting analyzing and information of failed processes, stability studies & Recall Root Cause & Revalidations. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of quality processes, customer requirements, and in-process inspections. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementation and monitoring of Work Instructions (WI) and One Point Lessons (OPL) Prepare and maintain PPAP, SIR, and CAPA documentation as per customer and IATF standards Operate and inspect components using Vision Measuring Machine (VMM) and prepare inspection reports Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc. Lead and close customer complaints with timely and effective CAPA Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections Prepare quality reports and dashboards for daily/weekly review Coordinate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement Maintain all records for audits (Internal, Customer, and Third-party) Key Skills Required: Knowledge of WI, OPL, CAPA, PPAP, SIR VMM usage and part inspection Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 systems Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Word) Good communication and team coordination skills Understanding of rubber and plastic part tolerances is an advantage Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field Training or certification in Quality Systems preferred
