Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose diseases, injuries, and vision problems.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and other treatments.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures on the eye and surrounding structures, such as

  cataract surgery

  and refractive surgery.
• Manage chronic eye conditions like

  glaucoma

  and macular degeneration.
• Collaborate with other specialists to manage patients with systemic diseases affecting the eyes.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• MBBS

  and

  MS in Ophthalmology

  or an equivalent qualification are required.
• Proven experience as a consultant in a similar role is preferred.
• A strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care is essential.
