This includes performing surgical procedures such as cataract extraction and laser eye surgery when necessary. You will also be prescribing corrective lenses and medications to enhance patient vision and eye health. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals is essential to provide holistic patient care. Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, examinations, and treatments is crucial. It is important to stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and treatment options. Educating patients on eye care and preventive measures will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in ophthalmology. Board certification in ophthalmology is required. You should possess excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, along with experience in the latest ophthalmic technologies. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for effective patient interactions. Additionally, you must have a valid state medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.,
