As an Ophthalmic Device Specialist, your role involves operating ophthalmic diagnostic devices, such as OCT machines, to conduct high-quality imaging and diagnostics. Your key responsibilities will include: - Operating ophthalmic diagnostic devices, particularly OCT machines, to ensure precise imaging and diagnostics. - Maintaining, calibrating, and ensuring optimal functionality of all ophthalmic devices. - Demonstrating a deep understanding of ophthalmic devices and their applications in diagnostics and treatment. - Troubleshooting device issues and liaising with service teams for necessary repairs. - Assisting patients during diagnostic procedures by clearly explaining the process. - Safeguarding patient data and maintaining comprehensive records of diagnostic procedures. To qualify for this role, you should ideally have: - Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment. - Proficient knowledge of ophthalmology and familiarity with ophthalmic devices, especially OCT machines. - Demonstrated ability to effectively operate and manage OCT devices. - Experience in handling patients with a focus on delivering exceptional care. - Strong problem-solving skills and adeptness in troubleshooting medical equipment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and healthcare teams.,
