Operator - CNC Laser Cutting

Role Overview: As a Laser Machine Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate laser cutting machines efficiently. You will need to have a good understanding of different materials and their properties, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings. Attention to detail and quality control are crucial in this role. Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills will also be required to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Cutting customer parts from metals and other materials - Processing internal cut orders for manufacturing and engineering departments - Selecting appropriate lenses for the job - Loading and running programs on the laser cutting machines - Calculating machine specifications and parameters based on the thickness and type of material being used - Performing routine maintenance on the laser equipment to ensure efficiency and safety Qualifications Required: - Experience operating laser cutting machines - Knowledge of materials and their properties - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Attention to detail and quality control skills - Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
