Job Description

The IT Project Intermediate Analyst role is a developmental position that involves dealing with most issues independently and having the flexibility to resolve complex problems. This role requires the integration of specialized knowledge in a particular area with a strong grasp of industry standards and practices. A good understanding of how the team and area collaborate with others to achieve subfunction/job family objectives is essential. Analytical thinking, expertise in data analysis tools, and methodologies are applied in making judgments and recommendations based on factual information. The role typically involves addressing variable issues with potentially broader business implications and requires professional judgment in interpreting data and results. The ability to break down information systematically and communicate effectively is crucial. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to exchange potentially complex or sensitive information. The quality and timeliness of service provided will impact the effectiveness of the immediate team and other closely related teams. Responsibilities: - Coordinate activities of an IT project team, identifying necessary resources and developing schedules to meet completion deadlines. - Collaborate in the development of project business and system requirements. - Develop requirement documentation. - Communicate with project staff and clients regarding project status. - Utilize project management tools for project status tracking, metrics, and estimates. - Contribute to process improvement efforts. - Provide guidance to new or lower-level analysts. - Evaluate business and system processes, along with industry standards. - Apply a good understanding of IT project leadership procedures, concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas. - Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information and resolve problems by selecting solutions through acquired technical experience. - Exchange ideas and information concisely and logically. - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management with End to End SDLC phases handling. - Experience working in an Agile environment. - Hands-on experience using JIRA tool. Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
