As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electronic systems, subsystems, cards, and assemblies. Your role will involve hands-on Analog and Digital Circuit design using components such as Operational Amplifiers, transistors, Micro-controllers, and FPGA. You will integrate various sensors using analog and digital interfaces like RS232/422/485, ADC to custom/COTS hardware. Understanding customer requirements and developing solutions that meet those requirements will be a key aspect of your job. In this position, you will be required to provide complete documentation covering functional, technical, and design aspects. You will coordinate and manage other stakeholders including PCB designers, mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, sourcing team, and testers. Developing prototypes, preparing Design, Manufacturing, and Repair Documentation, as well as creating Test jigs & Fixtures will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have expertise and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Analog and Digital Circuit design with components like Micro-controllers, Operational Amplifiers, switches, transistors, transformers, and FPGA. Experience in an electronics product industry such as Defence, Telecom, or railway electronics/signaling is required. Candidates from industries like automotive, consumer durables, or contract manufacturing will not be considered suitable. The educational qualification for this position is B.E./B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electronics/Communications with a minimum of 65% marks. You must be willing to relocate to the company's R&D center in Mohali and be open to travel to client locations if necessary. Experience in Schematic entry/PCB design, VHDL/Verilog, or Chip Design is not required for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund and a performance bonus. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the preferred experience includes 2 years in Product Design and Digital Circuit design.
