Company Name - Diehl Metal India Pvt Ltd JOB DESCRIPTION : OPERATING ENGINEER (PRODUCTION DEPT) Responsibility: Production as per plan Ensure breakdowns are attended by Maintenance Engineers Practice tool management system Ensure only products that have passed inspection and test are used Control of suspect product and reaction record Updation of daily records Document Rejections daily Implement timely corrective actions on audit findings Ensure proper handling of products in Manufacturing Modules Ensure maintenance of records on special processes. Ensure housekeeping Tool status identification such as ok, Not ok, Repair, etc. Carryout Quality Auditors functions in their absence Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head- Manufacturing Compliance to W.I Identification of Products Self-inspection Monitor processes where it is the specified responsibility 100% Inspection Final inspection and testing of products Not to use an equipment when it is not in calibrated status Identify rejections using Rejected Tags and participation in scrap disposal Re-inspection of re-worked products at Assembly Modules as per Re-work procedures Assistance for investigation of rejections and scrap Cleanliness of workstation Participation in Suggestions and continual improvement projects Daily maintenance checks and updation of check lists. Follow all safety practices Authority: Authority to stop production in case of any deviation Inform to supervisors of any abnormality on the station Reaction Plan Implementation (In case of Abnormality) Interface: - HOD Production, Shift In charge, Tool room, HOD Engg, QA Team, Store.
