You will be responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor. Additionally, you will prepare, analyze, and report gross margin analysis by customer type, product type, item type, etc. Your role will involve performing services like costing, pricing goods or services, preparing, verifying or certifying cost accounting, and preparing related statements. You will also be responsible for analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports. Furthermore, you will provide advice on profitable product mix, identify business risks, and ensure mitigation. Making estimates of new and proposed product costs will be a part of your responsibilities. You will be required to provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services. Maintaining the Cost Accounting System and assisting in the month-end close of the General Ledger will also fall under your purview. In this role, you will evaluate the operating efficiency and effectiveness of production and service management in different departments of the organization. You will identify areas of improvement to reduce expenses in the company. Moreover, calculating the ROI of all R&D projects will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities.,
