Key Responsibilities: Wind Resource & Energy Yield Assessment Analyze wind resource data (met mast, LiDAR, SoDAR) and perform data validation and filtering. GIS & Site Screening Perform site identification and pre-feasibility studies using GIS, terrain mapping, and exclusion zones. Assist in micro-siting and environmental setback planning using relevant tools and datasets. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Renewable Energy / Atmospheric Science / Physics / Energy Engineering Specialization or certification in wind energy assessment (preferred) Experience: 26 years of relevant experience in wind resource assessment, wind project development, or consulting Experience working with utility-scale wind projects (onshore/offshore) Key Skills & Tools: Wind resource software: WAsP, WindPRO, WindFarmer, OpenWind, Meteodyn WT GIS tools: QGIS, ArcGIS (for mapping and exclusion analysis) Data analysis: MS Excel, Python, or R (basic preferred) SCADA data interpretation and performance benchmarking Knowledge of IEC standards, IEA Best Practices, and local regulatory norms (e.g., MNRE, C-WET in India)
