The work you'll be doing as a developer for Verizon's Cloud Infrastructure supporting development develop and automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Openstack and Kubernetes, build DevOps tools for CI/CD, and design, develop, and deploy generative AI models and agentic systems. This role involves integrating AI solutions, maintaining AI/ML infrastructure, implementing data pipelines, and conducting research in new AI techniques, all while fostering collaboration and ensuring supportability. You will have autonomous control over day-to-day activities allocated to the team as part of agile development of new services Serving as developer for Openstack and Kubernetes based Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Automation pipeline Interfacing with the engineering and operations team to develop a collaborative process for handoff ensuring supportability and on time delivery. Building DevOps tools for CI/CD based deployment of cloud infrastructure. Involvement in DevOps lifecycle. Designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models) Architecting and building agentic systems with autonomous decision-making capabilities Integrating generative AI and agentic solutions into existing products and services Developing and maintaining the software infrastructure required for AI/ML pipeline Developing and implementing data pipelines for training and evaluating AI models Collaboration, Documentation, Monitoring & Evaluation of AI Systems Conducting research and experimentation with new generative AI and agentic techniques Advanced Prompt Engineering techniques and tuning What We’re Looking For... You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of cloud native tools (e.g., CNI, OPA, FLUX). Knowledge of IP Networking including Virtual Private Cloud, VPN, SDN, DNS, Load-balancing, and Firewalls. Experience in OS virtualization and containerization isolation technologies and automation. Experience with Full Stack development. Experience in following open source Kubernetes/Openshift deployment. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Master’s degree or related field.
